Get your guests dancing
A belly dance workshop is the perfect way to get your guests talking, laughing, and dancing! Kristine will come to your home or venue to present a one hour beginner level workshop. This will introduce some basic movements of belly dance and will include a dance demonstration by Kristine. These workshops are appropriate for all ages, and Kristine will tailor the workshop to include everyone, including those with physical challenges. Absolutely no dance experience is required for these fun lessons – those with two left feet are always welcome!

Kristine has been delivering safe, fun belly dance workshops and classes for nearly a decade. Looking to get the party started before heading out on the town? Kristine will show you some new moves to bust out on the dance floor! Bringing together multiple generations to celebrate a wedding or a new baby? Kristine will be sure to include everyone – from your grandma to your little nephew.
A party workshop includes:
- A 1 – 2 song demonstration performance by Kristine to start things off.
- One hour of interactive instruction including a warm up and cool down to ensure safe participation.
- Jingly, swishy hip scarves for everyone to wear during the lesson.
- Great music to play in your CD player or Ipod speakers.
- An experience tailored to the theme of your event and the personality of your guests.
These workshops typically take place in your home or event venue. Please provide a stereo to play the CD or Ipod, as well a sufficient space for your guests to stand and stretch out their arms. A living room with some of the furniture pushed to the sides of the room can work perfectly. Please note that Kristine delivers workshops, including the demonstration performance, in exercise type clothing – not a full belly dance costume. Pricing: Starts at $250 for small to medium groups. For large groups (over 30 participants), please contact for a customized quote. Travel fees may apply for locations outside of the City of Calgary.
